What this comparison measures
This table is not a general market quality ranking. It is a fit matrix for the service WebTrustEngine actually sells — evidence-bound, decision-file oriented cross-domain auditing. For a different use case another product may fit better; we say so plainly in the "When is another product a better fit?" section below.
Method: every cell rests only on what the competitor's official product page explicitly states. Third-party blogs, Crunchbase, estimate sites and search snippets do not count as evidence. Failing to find a capability in official documentation does not mean it is absent — so cells we could not evidence are not red but grey "no evidence found". There is not one unsourced green or red cell.
Colour alone never carries meaning: each cell is read together with a symbol, visible text and the table header, and screen readers announce the full status.

What the financial signals do and do not say
Financial indicators are dated company/transaction signals that show the scale of the market these products operate in. A funding round, a purchase price and a company valuation are not interchangeable; this data does not constitute a valuation for WebTrustEngine and must not be read as one.
Amounts are not ordered largest-to-smallest, and order is not a quality indicator. Each card separately states the signal type, its date, which legal entity it applies to, and a "current valuation?" field.
Why WebTrustEngine?
- Two layers in one file. An executive brief the decision maker can read and a technical annex the delivery team can verify, in the same deliverable.
- Number provenance. Every figure ships with hashes, manifests and a recomputable lineage; the same input scanned again with the same version produces the same number.
- Clustered evidence. Raw occurrences, unique signals, affected scope and proven root causes are counted separately — the same problem is never counted twice.
- Reversible fixes. Changes are applied with a rollback manifest.
- Local operation. Input can be a URL, a ZIP package or a local folder; processing is local and auditable.
- Automated retest. Closure is re-measured on the next scan.
